Are you a proven sales professional with a track record in sales or business development for technical products in Environmental, Construction, Civil Engineering or related fields? Have you sold through a distribution channel? Are you familiar with teams such as: NAG, Profile, Hanes GEO, Tensar, ADS, Propex, Western Excelsior, American Excelsior, Profile or Tencate Mirafi? What You Need for this Position
Bachelor's degree in Business or a Technical Discipline such as: Environmental, Civil, Structural Engineering
3+ years of professional business development or Sales experience for a technical product, such as: Civil, Environmental or Construction Products
2+ years of professional Sales, Business Development, Lead Generation - through a distribution model, managing distributors
Able to work from a home office
Able to travel regionally throughout the midwestern territory 50-75% of the time
A Plus if you Have:
A background in heavy earthwork construction, erosion control, environmental construction
Experience presenting to state municipalitiesAEC Firms, Architectural, Engineering and Design
What You Will Be Doing
Create your own schedule from your home office, manage an established territory across the midwest. Perform consultative, relationship based business development, marketing and promotions. Calling on and making promotional presentations to contractors, DOT, state municipalities and distributors to manage sales and distribution of our civil, and environmental construction products through a distributorship model. Travel interstate up to 50% of the time.
