Due to continuous growth, we are looking to add a skilled Field Project Engineer to our team. We have a few different opportunities and are open to seeing recent grads as well as skilled projects engineers. The main objective of the position is to prepare concrete structure and formwork drawings for assigned projects incorporating information from project drawings, bulletins, sketches, RFI responses and shop drawings provided by other trades and coordinates drawing submittals with customers.

What You Will Be Doing

-Participates with the planning stage of projects to ensure the most efficient, safe and economical form systems are incorporated into the project design.

-Reviews and analyzes the project documents identifying drawing and specification conflict, insufficient information, and missing dimensions, while contributing ideas to enhance project productivity and cost efficiency.

-Oversees the evaluation and coordination of material requirements with field supervisors to ensure availability and efficient utilization of our equipment on assigned projects. Coordination to include planning, ordering, inventory control and transportation of materials and equipment.

-Ensures duplication and delivery of up-to-date drawings and instructions to the job site.

-Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.

What You Need for this Position

-Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or relevant area of education and/or equivalent work experience and a minimum of two years' work experience supporting si8milar key responsibilities.

-Completed coursework in computer-aided drafting or an equivalent combination of training and/or work experience.

-Knowledge of construction formwork systems, take-offs and estimating processes obtained from education or industry experience.

-Strong mathematical and visualization skills.
