An established Cisco Gold Partner and provider of Advanced Technology solutions including Data Center engineering, Systems and Telephony solutions, Collaboration & Unified Communications, and Network Security Solutions, has an immediate opening for an experienced Senior Account Manager who have strong experience selling Advanced Technology Solutions.

What You Need for this Position

  • 5+ years recent VAR industry sales experience selling Cisco Advanced Technology Solutions

---Selling into the Commercial, Enterprise, Healthcare, SLED and / or Fortune 1000 space is highly desired

  • College degree or equivalent preferred

  • Proven record of success achieving / exceeding sales targets and goals

  • Excellent communication and organization skills

  • Sales experience in both Hardware & Services / Solutions

  • Strong understanding of how clients use technology to meet business objectives.

  • Demonstrated technical and product knowledge of Cisco network solutions

  • Previous experience selling Cisco UC, Collaboration, Contact Center, Security, and / or Data Center solutions is a plus.

  • The successful candidate will have had a minimum of three years of achieving sales goals and is comfortable with developing an account base, establishing relationships and closing viable business opportunities.

  • The Account Manager must be able to provide guidance to a LOCAL team of pre-sales and post sale engineers (SME's: CCIE's, Voice / UC Engineers, Data Center Architects, Wireless Engineers, etc. ) to develop, execute and deliver leading edge Cisco / Advanced Technology solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

  • As a trusted advisor, consultative solution selling of corporate IT solutions for new and existing customers in geographic region.

  • New business development for Cisco Data Network Solutions, Network Assessments, Network Design & Deployments , Unified Communications (VoIP), Secure Wireless Networks, and Network Security solutions.

  • Closing business to hit targets.

  • Work with partners and Team to scope and manage solution sales cycle.

  • Attending industry/supplier events.

  • Attend training classes as offered or directed

  • Keeping up to date on trends, industry, competitors, etc.
