What You Will Be Doing

Job Overview:

This position is responsible for the maintenance and reporting of databases and data systems.

Essential Functions:

-Acquire data from multiple data sources, maintain administer databases

-Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

-Develop, modify, maintain and support custom reports for both ad-hoc and ongoing needs of multiple departments

-Create and maintain documentation for various systems, services and business processes including databases and reporting procedures

-Assist with the review, consolidation and reduction of data discrepancies

-Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs

-Train users in creating, customizing and scheduling of reports

-Work with 3rd-party vendors on support and maintenance issues that may include specification design and development oversight, as well as testing and integration within other applications

-Other duties as assigned

What You Need for this Position

Required Education and Experience

-Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, statistics or five or more years of technology related on-the-job experience

-Experience/Knowledge with BI Tools: Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Kibana, etc.

-Strong SQL/T-SQL/PL SQL, DBA skills.

-Agile/scrum team work experience.

-Ability to quickly troubleshoot and diagnose database problems and resolve them within a short timeframe.

-Understand the concepts involved in relational databases.

-Experience in using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio / SQL Server Reporting Services / Report Builder.

-Experience in installing, configuring, upgrading, patching, maintenance, backup, recovery and tuning Microsoft SQL Servers.
