What You Will Be Doing

-Lead and manage the Bank's CRA & Fair Lending Programs by engaging stakeholders in the Bank and within the Community. Develop, maintain, monitor, and assist in achieving annual goals set forth in the Bank's Business Plan for CRA & Fair Lending.

-Identify, develop and recommend revision of existing CRA & Fair Lending standards, policies, operating procedures, and programs to ensure satisfactory results for the Bank.

-Ensure the Bank operates in compliance with all CRA & Fair Lending regulations, meeting and/or exceeding expectations of the Bank's regulatory agencies.

-Build collaborative working relationships and partnerships with management to understand core business activities, marketing/branding initiatives, and key compliance risks.

-Assist management with originating CRA qualifying loans and investments. Help find, structure, and negotiate new and creative CRA & Fair Lending opportunities (loans, products, or investments) for the Bank.

-Ensure that the Bank's loans and investments meet the regulatory definition of "community development"

-Actively represent the Bank within the community, advancing the Bank's business and community-oriented interests to pursue community development and financial education opportunities within the Bank's Assessment Area and Credit Market Areas.

-Work with Senior Management and Marketing to find and donate to CRA eligible charitable programs and organizations.

-Chair the Bank's CRA & Fair Lending Committee, preparing reports for the Board and Bank management which detail the CRA & Fair Lending Program performance and effectiveness.

-Coordinate with and support federal and state regulatory agency examiners and internal auditors during CRA & Fair Lending-related examinations. Address and remediate audit and regulatory findings.

-Conduct a periodic CRA Self-Assessment and work with management to achieve goals

-Maintain the Bank's Public CRA File

What You Need for this Position

-Deep knowledge of CRA & Fair Lending banking laws, regulations, and regulatory expectations, as well as compliance management disciplines and techniques.

-Demonstrated ability to build business partnerships and collaborative working relationships with management and a broad array of community stakeholders.

-Strong communication and business writing abilities, with the capability to effectively present information to varied audiences within the Bank and within the Community.

-Strong leadership and team-building skills, including demonstrated abilities in promoting continuous improvement.
