What You Will Be Doing

As a QA Engineer on our team you will be responsible for ensuring that our digital products meet high quality standards. You will create and perform manual and automated tests to ensure the accuracy UI elements as well as the functionality of back-end elements and APIs. You must have ability to work alone on multiple projects at a time, be a self-starter who consistently exhibits attention to detail. This person should have experience with building test automations and able/willing to manually test.

Responsibilities

-Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

-Liaise with internal teams (e.g. engineers and product managers) to clarify and bridge gaps in the requirements

-Create detailed, comprehensive, well-structured test plans and test cases

-Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

-Troubleshooting, document thoroughly, and track defects

-Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

-Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools

What You Need for this Position

Qualifications

-5+ years of QA engineering experience

-Experience using Selenium-WebDriver, Javascript, Jmeter

-Experience working with Java-based RESTful APIs

-Provide support during UAT and Production deployment by executing smoke tests and validating/reproducing reported issues

-Experience working in an agile environment

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills

-Have a growth mindset and orientation toward continuous personal and organizational improvement
