RF IC Design Engineer RF IC Design Engineer - Skills Required - Millimeter, GHz, MSEE
If you are a RF Millimeter-Wave Design Engineer with experience, please read on! we are looking for someone who will be a lead member in our instrument design team. As an individual contributor you will work with other members of the design team including cross functionally with mechanical, software and manufacturing to design high quality / state of the art test and measurement instruments operating at frequencies up to 80 GHz and beyond.

What You Will Be Doing
-Develop module level architectures and analysis including detailed material and device selection
-Work with MMIC device vendors and contribute to Teradyne semiconductor strategy
-Develop prototype designs generally using HFSS and ADS
-Create test plans and verify prototype designs in the lab generally with both connectorized and probe station test equipment
-Work closely with internal individuals and external vendors to a) insure designs are consistent with manufacturing constraints, including Design-For-Manufacturing
(DFM) and Design-For-Test (DFT)
-Develop test plans and perform module level design verification in the lab
-Work closely with manufacturing to resolve process related performance issues to root cause and corrective action.
-Develop hardware documents such as technical assessments, implementation specifications and layered specification documents.
-Participate in technical discussions and exchanges regarding technology developments, next generation developments and roadmaps
What You Need for this Position
BSEE degree, MSEE preferred
5+ years of experience developing millimeter wave circuits above 24 GHz
Strong understanding of state of the art technology and practice for designing above 24 GHz
Experience working with materials and manufacturing teams to understand technology and process tradeoffs to develop high quality/high reliability designs
Success delivering designs to manufacturing and product availability (end to end development cycle)
3+ years of experience producing quality designs through the use of simulation tools such as HFSS.
