What You Will Be Doing

You will be bridging the gap between Artists and Programmers working on games, ensuring art assets can be easily integrated into a game without sacrificing the artistic vision or exceeding the platform's technical limits. Game and VR experience is a requirement.

What You Need for this Position

Core Technical Skills:

  • Be able to show technical proficiency in areas such as lighting and rendering, texturing, particle systems, environmental FX, shaders

  • Contribute to asset creation and refinement

  • Have extensive knowledge of art packages ranging from modelling to texturing and special effects

  • Be able to customize art packages so that they are as streamlined as possible for specific projects

  • Create toolsets and scripts for the art team and be able to anticipate the needs of the artists so as to streamline their productivity

  • Able to support the team with tools, workflow improvements, and pipelines to help the team function efficiently

  • Be able to troubleshoot issues and improve workflow

  • Work closely with dev team to implement interactive objects and systems in UE4 Blueprint.

  • Knowledge of UE4 and Unity across a set of its features and systems.

  • Experience creating UE4 Blueprints for interactive gameplay systems.

  • Additionally, knowledge of working within the Unity environment.

  • Highly skilled in the use of 3D graphics software/knowledge of 3D modeling and asset creation packages like Maya, Substance, ZBrush, Photoshop, etc.

  • Low and high-poly modeling skills, ability in texture and material creation and real-time lighting in UE4/Unity.

  • Experience with character rigging and animation production

  • Scripting experience

  • Knowledge of coding is a plus!

  • Be able to work well as part of a team

  • Have good communication skills

  • Be able to work with minimum supervision

  • Have excellent organizational skills

  • Be able to think creatively to resolve technical challenges and limitations
