An established Cisco Gold Partner and provider of Advanced Technology solutions including Data Center engineering, Systems and Telephony solutions, Collaboration & Unified Communications and Network Security Solutions, has an immediate opening for an experienced Senior Account Manager who has strong experience selling Advanced Technology Solutions in the Federal Sector.

---This position is based allows you to be based remotely anywhere in the U.S. but must be available for travel as needed

What You Need for this Position

  • 5+ years' Sales experience within the Federal DoD space

  • Direct experience selling to the Army

  • Hunting/ Outside Sales Experience with a VAR

  • Strong background with Cisco, NetApp, IBM, Microsoft, AWS

  • Hunter Mentality

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills

  • Proven record of success achieving / exceeding sales targets and goals

  • Availability to travel as needed

What You Will Be Doing

  • The Senior Account Manager will join our outside sales team and perform as a trusted advisor developing long term relationships with customers.

  • Responsible for driving sales with existing and new clients, as well as developing strategic planning activities for the federal sales lifecycle.

  • Develop and maintain deep relationships within DHS and vendor relationships -- Cisco, EMC, VMware, NetApp, HP

  • Identify and qualify leads, and generate new business opportunities in order to achieve revenue quota on a quarterly and annual basis

  • Build strategic working relationships with clients, maintaining a high level of face to face contact
