What You Will Be Doing

  • Conduct visual inspection for wear and tear on all fire alarm devices to include fire alarm control panel, batteries, data gathering panel (DGPs), notification appliances, initiating devices, and remote annunciators.

  • Conduct test and response on all applicable fire alarm devices, conduct mechanical testing on all applicable fire alarm devices.

What You Need for this Position

Experience and knowledge of:

  • Trade School Certification and/or High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 0-1 year relevant technical work experience

  • Knowledge of fire alarm products, EST products desired

  • Proper use of hand tools (meter, toner, etc.)

  • Understanding of basic electronics theories and principles (Ohms Law, AC/DC, etc.)

  • Ability to demonstrate the safe use of ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and related equipment required

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
